THIS UNIT CAN BE USED ON ALMOST ANY APPLICATION, BOOSTED OR NATURALLY ASIPIRATED. GM, FORD, CHRYSLER, OR IMPORT APPLICATIONS. THIS SYSTEM COOLS DOWN THE ENGINE INTAKE TEMP AND EXHUAST GAS TEMPS AND ALLOWS MORE COMPRESSION RATIO AND/OR TIMING ON LIMITED OCTANE OR LOWER OCTANE FUELS. ALO WORKS ON BOOST AND OR NITROUS APPLICATIONS TO ALLOW MORE TIMING AND/OR BOOST WITHOUT AS MUCH OR AS QUICK DETONATION RISK.  IN A NUTSHEEL, THE PUMP IS CONTROLLED BY A CONTROLLER TO METER A MIX OF WATER AND METHONOL FROM RESERVOIR INTO THE AIR INLET OF YOUR MOTOR VIA AN INTJECTOR TO COOL THINGS DOWN AND STARVE OFF DETONATION. DO NOT BE OVERWHLEMED WITH THIS KIT, ITS NOT AS COMPLICATED AS IT MAY SEEM ON THE SURFACE! I WOULD RATE ABOUT ANY NITROUS KIT A MORE COMPLICATED SYSTEM THAN WHAT WE HAVE HERE. THE FLUID FOR RESERVIOR IS NOT INCLUDED BUY AVAILABLE FROM THE ZL1 SPEED SHOP BY THE GALLON OR LARGER CONTAINERS. FLUID IS PRE MIXED AND JUST A DUMP IN AND GO SCENARIO.

In gasoline engines, as with any intercooler, Snow Performance Boost Cooler Stage-2 water/methanol injection systems suppress detonation so that more power-producing timing can be utilized. Water, with its high latent heat of vaporization, cools the intake charge and combustion. Methanol cools the charge and combustion, but also acts like an extremely high-octane fuel (some researchers claim as high as 120 octane) and adds more oxygen to combustion.
